World of Battles Global Map is divided into regions (which at the same time are divided into provinces) that belong to different races. Provinces may be neutral or belong to a clan.
All the events on the Map are accomplished with the help of “control Points,” which are acquired by all the Clan members through “Quick Battles” on the Global Map Screen. Control Points affect the resolution of every event (e.g. capture of a territory) on the Global Map once per twenty-four hours. All the events on the map are held through the “Quick Battle,” which means that besides the reward for battle, you will also move one step closer to your goal!
So, you have created a Clan (or you were invited/accepted into it), and after that you enter the Global Map Screen. If you don’t possess any provinces, you will start the war for territory from the edge of the Map.
As you already know, the Global Map regions are divided into provinces. Every province has four parameters:
Territory control is implemented through assignment of a certain amount of control points to carry our different actions. There are five types of actions on the Global Map:
There you will also find the button that allows you to switch the Map into the “political” mode, giving you the ability to see which provinces respective Clans own.
In the usual mode, only the selected province will be highlighted with the color of the owning Clan.
The
button opens the Favor of the Gods window. This feature allows you to buy «boost» for your Control Points income. There are three types of boost with different Control Points bonus:
After you get used to the game interface, you can start actions on the Global Map. If you are a Clan Leader or Officer, you have the ability to start the Attack action on one of the nearby provinces.
Your Attack, as well as the Attack of other Clans will be displayed as the
icon.
Other Clan members may either take part in the action or start/take part in two other available actions –
Invasion or
Fortify.
By clicking on one of these actions you will start the Quick Battle. After it’s over you will receive a certain amount of Control Points, which will be automatically transferred to the action in which you are participating.
As you already know, every province has its own
population and
defense parameters. If a province has a high population parameter, it means that it will be easier for you to perform attacks from this province by allocating control points from the population into your attack. So, by capturing one territory, you can create a springboard for further attacks on nearby locations – attacking from a “highly populated” province will increase the chances of successfully capturing another location. If a province has a high Defense parameter, it means that it will be easier for you to protect this location.
The process of capturing a province goes like this: a Clan allocates a number of available control points to the attack (the number of points should exceed the defense index of a province for a successful capture). For example, a neutral province has a defense index of 150 points. The Clan leader begins an attack on that province and allocates 100 control points. Clan members who join the Attack will have to gain at least 60 control points so the number of control points allocated to the attack exceeds the number in the defense parameter. Clan members automatically allocate control points for every battle they win in a “Quick Battle” for this province. If the Attack is successful you will capture the province after twenty four hours.
