Registration, installation and downloading

Before you can start playing World of Battles, you need to register at http://www.worldofbattles.com/user/register

You must provide correct information, including a valid email address. This will be used to complete the registration process.

After registartion you will be redirected to the download page.

Click the Download client button to download special “World of Battles downloader” file.

When the download is completed please run the downloaded file. This program will automatically download and install the game client.

1. Browse - lets you choose the destination folder (folder where the “installer” file will be downloaded)
2. ? - transfers to the wiki page, which containes the instructions for the “Downloader”
3. Support - allows to report an issue that you may encounter while using the “Downloader”
4. Start - starts the instalation of the game

Installing the game:

1. The downloader will automatically launch the downloaded installation package. The game setup window will open. Press the «Next» button to begin the installation.
2. Read the license agreement and, if you agree, select the option “I accept the terms of the license agreement” and click the «Next» button to continue the installation.
3. Choose where you want to install the game by selecting «Change». The game will install to С:\Program Files\Frogwares\World of Battles by default. Click the «Next» button.
4. In the next window, select «Install» and wait for the game to be installed. (During the installation process, you will be prompted to install DirectX from March 2008. If you already have this package installed, decline this part of the installation. Warning: The game will not run without this, or a newer version, of DirectX!)
5. After the installation process is complete, game shortcuts will be created on your desktop and in the “Start” menu.

Uninstalling World of Battles:

There are two ways to uninstall World of Battles:

1. Launch the installation program you downloaded again. You will be prompted to uninstall the game. Follow the instructions on the screen to do so.
2. From the “Start” menu, choose Programs → Frogwares → World of Battles → Uninstall World of Battles. Follow the instructions.
